About The Role

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Controller to oversee all aspects of our accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in public accounting, hold an active CPA license, and currently manage a full-cycle monthly close process. Prior experience in digital media, entertainment, or high-growth environments is highly preferred. Exposure to working within a larger holding company or corporate structure is a plus but not required.

A Snapshot Of Your Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full monthly, quarterly, and year-end close process
• Oversee all accounting functions including general ledger, accounts payable / receivable, revenue recognition, and consolidations
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Manage and improve internal controls, accounting policies, and procedures
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with tax advisors and auditors
• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting to stakeholders and executive leadership
• Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, legal, and content teams on business initiatives
• Assist in the implementation of new systems and scale accounting processes to support growth
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and financial planning processes

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate / range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $143,000.00-200,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical / dental / vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
