Job Summary

We are seeking a talented Head Chef to join our team at our Tiki Jacs location in Rehoboth Beach, DE. Our company is a family owned and operated business with over 25 years of success in this industry. Four locations in this area allows for plenty of growth and opportunity for anyone to take advantage of. We are a family and run our business like one. We need a self driven individual to help us continue our success here in the kitchen with creativity with food, leadership with staff and overall positivity within the company. Responsibilities :

BE A LEADER

Prepare food and present it in an appealing manner

Supervise and delegate tasks to other team members

Maintain appropriate levels of inventory and restock when necessary

Follow all food safety regulations

Qualifications :

Previous experience as a Head chef is a must

Certification from culinary school preferred but not needed. Experience as a leader in a high volume restaurant is a must

ServeSafe or Food Handlers Certification

Knowledge of culinary techniques and ability to follow a recipe and or create recipes and dishes to fit our style of cooking.

Ability to remain calm and thrive under pressure

Excellent time management skills and communication with staff and ownership

Strong leadership skills, ability to lead a team by working along side with them, our leaders in the kitchen cook with the team daily.
