Position Requirements
- Expectation is that Construction Coordinator is knowledgeable in regards to construction means and methods.
- Must be familiar with utilities infrastructure in an industrial environment
- Must be knowledgeable with tool start up and facilities turn on processes and procedures
- Must be knowledgeable with coordinating construction scope and schedule
- Must have general understanding of construction sequencing using the latest construction industry standards (pull planning,
- LPS and other new systems)
- Must have superior communication and interpersonal skills to interface with all parties involved in the tool install process.
- Must be able to work in an ambiguous environment.
- Must be in the field during the time trades are working, to enable immediate issue resolution in the field, escalate issues to CC3 (Construction Coordinator III) as appropriate.
- Attend Functional Area Team (FAT) meetings or similar.
- Attend team meetings.
- Manage and execute paperwork and construction requirements for construction milestones
- Manage completion of all punch list items as a result of SL1 / SL2 signoff process
- Coordinate utility startup / turnoff
- Walk utility lines / systems as part of install or ready to demo process to insure accuracy
- Facilitates and actively participates in RFI / ROD process to minimize time between questions and quality solutions.
- Elevate any constraints or issues that may affect safety, schedule, scope, quality and / or cost.
- Coordinate work among all trades, vendors, and stakeholders supporting construction (BB, PSSS, Flex, AMHS, TI,
- Rigging / Move-in, Demo, FSE, T&B, QAR testing, Fire protection, etc.)
- Understand all safety requirements, processes, and initiatives and assist with driving these to IFE with all stakeholders
- Champion the DBS process and lead pre-construction walks for mitigation closing the process by submitting the DBS walk form to Document Control.
- Champion the protocol audit process for SL2 closure ensuring all punch list items are closed and all temporary trade materials are cleaned up and removed (tape and Unistrut in local area)
- Attend and participate in Safety Lessons Learned / Fact Findings.
- Micromanage hand offs from trade to trade, System Owner to Tool Owner, one FA to another FA where necessary to ensure construction success
- Proactively find and resolve issues. Take ownership of problems and drive to resolution.
