3 Positions Available, 6 pm - 6 : 30 am, Sunday - Tuesday, every other Wednesday

CNC Machinists (Vertical and Horizontal Mills)

Peoplelink Staffing Solutions in partnership with a prominent client in Olathe, KS within the aerospace industry.

Responsibilities :

• Set up and operate CNC machines to perform precision machining operations
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations
• Monitor machine performance and make adjustments as necessary to ensure quality and efficiency
• Inspect finished products for accuracy and adherence to specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines or tooling
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Experience :

• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist
• Proficient in the use of micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring instruments
• Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Fanuc
• Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
• Experience using hand tools for setup and adjustment of machines
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus
• Ability to fabricate parts from raw materials based on provided specifications
• Forklift experience is a plus
