Sales Representative - Retail Petroleum Market
Location : Colorado Springs
Compensation : $70k-$80k base + commission
We are seeking a driven Sales Representative to manage the full sales cycle for small and medium companies in the retail petroleum market. This role requires technical expertise, strategic thinking, and strong relationship-building skills to generate opportunities, deliver value propositions, and close business.
Key Responsibilities :
- Lead the sale of gas price signs and related services to retail petroleum operators.
- Conduct needs assessments and communicate technical specifications and value propositions effectively.
- Build and maintain relationships with day-to-day contacts, leadership, and C-level executives.
- Manage customer expectations and maintain consistent engagement throughout projects, including post-implementation support.
- Prepare contracts, pricing proposals, and sales orders according to standard templates and guidelines.
- Provide or coordinate training for new and existing accounts as needed.
- Monitor industry trends, product developments, and competitor offerings.
- Identify prospects, develop sales plans, and execute cold-calling and marketing campaigns.
- Maintain accurate records in CRM systems and participate in customer events and trade shows.
- Travel 50-70% to meet client needs.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent.3+ years of B2B technical sales experience, preferably within manufacturing.Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational, and management skills.Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.Proficiency in Excel, Outlook, Word, Adobe Acrobat, and CRM systems (NetSuite preferred).Why Join :
