PRIVATE Captain couple team to run an 885 - Med / Caribbean

Luxury Yacht Captain / Engineer Position

This is a remote position. Starting spring 2026 we are looking for an established Captain / Engineer with either a Mate, Chef or Stew partner. This experienced sailing team will be happy running this high profile, luxury sailing yacht for private use in the Mediterranean and Caribbean seasons. The yacht runs with a full crew of four.

This yacht owner loves energy and enthusiasm in his crew, as well as top class sailing and hosting skills. He needs team players who can't wait for this beautiful yacht to be their summer home for the next couple of years and beyond.

Candidates will already be used to running 80ft + luxury sailing yachts to a high standard and thrive on a busy schedule. Ideal candidates must have proven sailing and racing experience and be used to super yacht standards of yacht care. Take the tour of the Oyster 885 to get a good feel for the brand and the yacht. Requirements : Captain :

YM Ocean minimum

Strong engineering and sailing skills

AEC preferred

Chef : Level 2 Hygiene

Used to working hi-end charter sailing yachts

Mate : YM Offshore minimum

Good experience on superyachts or luxury sailing yachts. Skipper of 50ft yachts looking for bigger boat experience.

Stew :

Experience on similar sized yachts or larger as Stew. Outgoing personality High attention to detail / Great at structuring your day

All :

Good sense of humour and fun

Presentable, professional, reliable and highly organised.
