Job description

This position supports various administrative functions within the department, including :

  • CME conference coordination
  • Visiting resident rotator program coordination
  • New faculty onboarding
  • Administrative support to department leadership and faculty
  • Travel and reimbursement coordination for faculty and visiting speakers
  • Back-up coordinator for residency programs
  • Other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years of program administration, preferably in higher education or healthcare
  • Typing and data entry skills
  • Strong organization and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and department-specific software

    • ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Provide administrative coordination and support for CME conferences, visiting rotators, residency programs, and department leadership
  • Screen calls and visitors professionally, handle inquiries, and document communications
  • Arrange travel, perform administrative follow-up, and schedule meetings with prepared materials
  • Assist with department budget updates and invoice processing
  • Serve as intermediary for supervisor, interacting with staff and officials, and translating policies
  • Maintain staff records and coordinate training schedules
