Advanced Specialty Care, P.C. is seeking a dedicated and licensed Hearing Instrument Specialist ( H.I.S. ) to join our Audiology Team.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting hearing evaluations, fitting and dispensing hearing aids, and providing follow-up care to ensure optimal hearing aid performance and patient satisfaction. This role combines clinical expertise with compassionate care to improve the quality of life for patients with hearing loss.

Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct comprehensive hearing evaluations including air and bone conduction, speech testing, and tympanometry (where applicable).
- Interpret audiometric test results and consult with patients regarding their hearing health and potential hearing aid solutions.
- Recommend and fit appropriate hearing instruments based on patient needs, preferences, and lifestyle.
- Program, adjust, and troubleshoot hearing aids using manufacturer software and tools.
- Provide counseling and education on hearing loss, hearing aid use, and communication strategies.
- Perform follow-up visits and hearing aid maintenance (e.g., cleanings, repairs, earmold impressions).
- Maintain accurate and timely patient records in compliance with HIPAA and company policies.
- Stay up to date with the latest hearing aid technologies, diagnostic tools, and industry trends.
- Collaborate with audiologists, physicians, and support staff to deliver integrated patient care.
Qualifications :
State licensure or certification as a Hearing Instrument Specialist (or eligible to obtain licensure).High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.Strong understanding of audiology concepts, hearing aid technology, and fitting protocols.Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.Detail-oriented with good organizational and time-management abilities.Proficient in hearing aid programming software and basic office computer systems.Preferred Qualifications :
1–3 years of experience in hearing healthcare or hearing aid dispensing.Familiarity with multiple hearing aid brands (e.g., Phonak, Oticon, ReSound, Starkey, etc.).Bilingual skills are a plus.Schedule :
Full Time : Monday through Friday.Must be able to work a flexible work schedule.Travel to satellite offices.Salary based on experience.
