Responsibilities
- Coordinate all construction field activities among subs and other individuals / companies involved
- Have a strong knowledge of the Construction Documents and ensure compliance
- Supervise project safety and ensure all workers on site
- Assess daily staffing of subcontractors and field workforce
- Assess sufficient supply of materials and equipment daily
- Track deliveries of materials from vendors to avoid delays and onsite material loss
- Participate in developing the project schedule
- Monitor actual versus required performance by all parties
- Maintain thorough familiarity with the requirements of the general contract
- Responsible that fieldwork is performed with a high standard of quality and in an efficient manner
- Maintain daily progress reports and conduct weekly job site safety meetings
Requirements
Seven years of experience in construction as a Lead Project SuperintendentMultifamily projects preferredExcellent organizational and leadership skills with a commitment to safetyMust have a professional attitude and outstanding communication skillsMust have specific knowledge of field supervision for layout, framing, MEP and finish tradesExcellent judgment of drywall, paint and other finish trades relative to construction qualityA thorough knowledge of federal, state and local building codesProven track record of safety in conjunction with all OSHA requirements and guidelinesAll qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, age, color, sex (including pregnancy), religion, national origin, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, military status, genetic information, or any other status protected by applicable laws or regulations.
