RESPONSIBILITIES :
Clean and maintain the work environment to ensure equipment longevity and workplace safetyMaintain a working knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repairInspect vehicles according to the state's requirements for emissions and safetyConduct necessary repairs and take vehicles for test drives to verify soundnessPerform routine automotive maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, transmission flushes, air conditioner re-charges, front-end alignments, battery installations and headlight / taillight installationsPerform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealershipTest-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipmentCommunicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairsExecute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specificationsREQUIREMENTS :
Must have at least 1 year of experience as an Virginia State InspectorKnowledge in all aspects of automotive repair and maintenanceFast learnerExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExcellent customer service skillsTeam playerComputer literateShould be able to operate electronic diagnostic equipmentValid State Inspector's licenseValid driver’s licenseHigh School Diploma“We are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
