Job Summary

The Stability Coordinator I is accountable for driving results in a fast-paced environment by generating protocols and facilitating the log in of samples and projects for lab documentation and reporting of data for client stability programs. This position provides administrative and organizational support related to stability storage activities, including protocol generation, sample receipt, inventory, login for testing, transfer / shipment, and storage. The ideal candidate will maintain electronic documentation and files to assure they are accurate and up-to-date and available to appropriate personnel.

On-Site Expectations

  • 100% on-site position.
  • 1st Shift : Monday – Friday, 8 : 30 am – 5 : 30 pm.

Responsibilities

  • Use multiple computer software programs to log in / generate projects for laboratory testing. Manage projects and maintain stability sample status, pull point, and testing requirements.
  • Manage and maintain testing requirements in electronic systems per the approved stability protocols and revisions.
  • Generate and review stability storage protocols, outlining schedule and required testing.
  • Receive incoming samples for stability storage and initiate chain-of-custody tracking in electronic inventory.
  • Complete stability sample pulls and prepare both internal and external shipment of samples.
  • Support client notification for sample destruction & prepare dispositioned samples for pickup.
  • May be required to complete, organize, and maintain DEA Form 222 and internal company documentation for receipt, transfer, and shipment of controlled substances in accordance with current Alcami and DEA standards. Additional requirements may include support of controlled substances accountability activities, including regular inventory and documentation review.
  • Respond to the environmental monitoring system for stability chambers.
  • Support stability inventory maintenance and routine review.
  • Perform documentation accurately and completely.
  • Comply with safety policies and procedures.
  • Communicate and collaborate routinely with other departments and clients.
  • Ensure timely completion and compliance with cGMP, EHS, DEA, and all other relevant company training requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 0-2+ years of related experience or high school diploma / GED with a minimum of 4+ years of related experience required.
  • Prior cGMP experience preferred.
  • Laboratory experience and / or experience with compendial testing is preferred, as this experience provides a solid foundation for the technical aspects of project creation and management.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Ability to multi-task with high attention to detail skills required.
  • Working knowledge of computer-based networks and document management systems preferred.
  • Strong understanding of pharmaceutical manufacturing and testing preferred.
  • Working knowledge of cGMP in a pharmaceutical or regulated environment preferred.
  • Excellent verbal communications and presentation skills required.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.
  • Self-motivated, reliable, detail-oriented, and a proactive team contributor.
  • Travel Expectations

  • Up to 5% travel required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually very quiet.

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and / or humid conditions; high, precarious places; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The employee will be required to wear the appropriate personal protective equipment for specific job duties to be performed. Such personal protective equipment may include, but not limited to safety eyewear, hearing protection, various types of respirators / breathing apparatus, lab coats, full protective body coverings, various types of gloves, etc. Other tasks involving elevated work may require the use of a body harness and lanyard. Additionally, the employee may be required to operate an industrial vehicle.
