Job Purpose
As the Inventory Control Manager - Royal Enfield North America (RENA), you will be part of the Global Commercial Organization and report to the Inventory / Lead of Service Operations - RENA.
You will be responsible for maintaining inventory levels to ensure successful distribution and fulfillment of dealer network orders.
Ensure adequate systems and processes are in place for monitoring and the control of inventory. Develop and implement a process to support business growth and the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement processes to support business growth.
- Records or documents changes in inventory, according to established procedures.
- Plans inventory as per lead time, minimum and maximum stock levels, safety stocks.
- Places and tracks regular sea and air orders to maintain a sufficient stock and fill rate
- Develop and drive a regular cadence of analyzing trends and stock levels to ensure proper fill rate
- Compiles stock records. Requisitions standard items to replenish stock.
- Coordinate with various internal stakeholders for timely availability of parts.
- Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchase orders as required; tracks orders and investigates problems.
Work with global stakeholders to obtain information regarding shipping status of orders or special orders.
- Works within SAP and SAP EWM daily

- Perform goods received verifications through the physical count and receiving of incoming stocking orders, verifies against requisitions, shipping notices or invoices.
- Work with shipping carriers to maximize customer service and inhouse costs for outbound goods.
- Maintain and manage backorder statements to ensure timely supply of available inventory.
- Conducts regular cycle counting to ensure accurate inventory availability and submits adjustments as required.
- Periodically performs physical count of inventory and reconciles actual stock count.
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Bachelors Degree (Full Time)
Experience
- 3 - 7 years of relevant experience
- Process development experience.
- Experience in the automotive or motorcycle industry.
- Experience in Excel and SAP
