Overview
The Digital Media Supervisor is a key member of the Health Media Hub team of experts responsible for delivering smart, innovative and performance-driven Digital campaigns for healthcare clients. You will take the lead in identifying and selecting media partners that achieve identified strategic and tactical objectives in partnership with the Strategy and Comms teams in healthcare and pharmaceutics.
You are the primary owner of vendor relationships and are responsible for negotiation and value creation with vendors, and for ensuring each plan is executed with excellence. You will supply aggregated quantitative and qualitative information for group-level reporting for rate and program negotiations while understanding the ins and outs of healthcare, the partners, audiences, and guidelines it brings.
You will partner with the Digital team to organize and manage workflow; coordinating the digital buyers and associate buyers to fulfill all media planning, analysis, and scheduling requests. You will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure strategic direction and goals are reflected in tactical channel and cross-channel plan recommendations.
The Digital Media Supervisor is expected to maintain a high-level knowledge of clients’ line of business by staying on top of industry trends. The team is expected to stay at the cutting edge of Digital innovation and educate the larger brand / client teams on relevant opportunities and challenges.
What you’ll do
- Manage and oversee the full cycle of media campaigns from campaign readiness to launch
- Media Planning Creation and Execution — oversee the recommendation of site partners for direct, contextually placed buys ensuring campaign objectives are met
- Provide strategic recommendations and guidance on pharma-specific publishers and general FDA media knowledge
- Negotiate rates, value, and terms with media partners in line with the negotiation strategy set by the Digital and Strategy teams
- Approve RFPs to partners prior to submission
- Drive evaluation of vendor proposals for qualitative and quantitative components
- Partner with specialty teams to ensure cohesiveness
- Lead support on content for recommended partners and programs; partner with Strategy and Comms for plan recommendations to clients
- Own client status reports on behalf of the Digital Media team
- Campaign Execution — ensure campaigns are executed with excellence and media plans stay within approved budgets
- Provide our Client Services teams with campaign insights, reporting and optimization recommendations
- Assist in reconciliation of discrepant billing issues and escalate to senior staff when necessary
- Oversee preparation of site-by-site trading history reports to support rate negotiations
- Determine optimal cross-channel and in-channel strategic and tactical performance approaches (Display, Mobile, programmatic, etc.)
- Develop client-facing Digital Investments Plans including plan presentations with KPIs and budgets
- Evaluate and assess media performance against original objectives and KPIs
- Supervise cross-channel media research and plan implementation, including consumer profiling, reporting, budgeting, scheduling, and benchmarking for KPIs
- Collaborate with Analytics to gauge campaign KPI success
- Maintain quality control to ensure projects are produced accurately and efficiently
- Demonstrate strong understanding of the client’s business and consumer journey
- Lead collaborative relationships with Investment, Client Services, and Havas Edge Affiliates to ensure delivery of media strategies
- Manage client requests with Client Services (e.g., plan changes, budget changes, QBRs)
- Stay informed on industry standards and new media opportunities
- Supervise and motivate staff, provide direction to junior team members, and promote teamwork
Who you are
Position Requirements
