Summary :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Technical Writer / Editor.

Responsibilities Prepares and / or maintains documentation pertaining to programming, systems operation and user documentation.

Translates business specifications into user documentation.

Plans, writes, and maintains systems documentation.

Supports system user documentation efforts, including development of change notices, online help screens and generation of interactive computer based training modules.

Writes, edits, proofreads, and copyedits a variety of documents.

Plans and prepares documents for dissemination.

Manages the documentation library.

Qualifications Necessary Skills and Knowledge :

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to plan and deliver technical solutions independently.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under tight deadlines.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Minimum Qualifications :

Bachelor's degree.

At least 4 years of experience and with configuration control experience.

Clearance : Public Trust

Citizenship : US Citizen by birth or naturalization

Pay and Benefits The salary range for this position is $111,000 - $118,000 annually.
