Master Carpenter

Job Description

A local contractor is seeking a Master Carpenter who will be responsible for overseeing carpentry projects, ensuring quality craftsmanship, and managing teams of carpenters. Work hours are Monday through Friday from 7 : 30 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m.

Key Responsibilities :

• Assess blueprints and project specifications to determine the materials and tools needed for construction, then plan and execute carpentry tasks, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
• Oversee journeymen carpenters and apprentices, provide guidance, and ensure that all work adheres to safety regulations and quality standards
• Perform a wide range of carpentry tasks, including cutting, shaping, and installing building materials, while being proficient in using both hand and power tools
• Inspect work for accuracy and quality, making adjustments as necessary to meet project specifications
• Work closely with architects, designers, and other construction professionals to ensure that the final product meets the desired aesthetic and functional requirements
