Ganymede is the lab data and integration platform for the life sciences, with a mission of improving the world through better healthcare outcomes. We believe that the highest leverage approach to speed up science is through better software. Today, we’re a leading startup in the life sciences software space with cutting-edge cloud technology and a rapidly growing client base.
As a staff software engineer focused on our backend and infrastructure, you'll drive the build of the Ganymede product with modern cloud infrastructure, AI tooling, and rich scientific data management products; architect our technical strategy; and leave your mark on the company, as well as the biotech industry as a whole. You'll wear many hats as one of our skilled engineers :
- Engineering work will span the stack, with a heavy focus on backend / infra, and maybe some direct work with biotech data too! (No experience needed in hardware or science - just a willingness to learn what it takes in a rapidly evolving startup environment.) You’ll wear many hats and may also delve into security, dev tools, release engineering, and more.
- Day-to-day work will be a combination of scrappy implementation to maintain our pace, and careful strategic planning to avoid and reduce tech debt in the future.
- You'll interface with our founders and customers as we prioritize our roadmap and scope out the exact details of our releases. In a technical environment like Ganymede, engineering and product are inseparable.
- You'll also be a key determinant of our culture, and will help us grow and set norms for the business as we scale
