Analyst - Analytics @ Toyota Financial Services (Multiple Open Roles - please see below)

These positions are based at the Toyota Headquarters in Plano, TX.

Who we're looking for

Toyota Financial Services is looking for highly motivated people to fill multiple openings as an Analyst in one of our Analytics teams. The primary focus of our Analytics teams is to generate actionable insights by leveraging data and using effective data storytelling to help our company make better data-driven decisions.

What you'll be doing

• Uncover business needs and the true questions that the company is trying to answer in order to properly frame your analysis.
• Leverage your SQL / Python / R coding skills to pull and organize data that is needed for your analysis.
• Find insights buried in the data by applying your arsenal of creative problem-solving, data exploration, and quantitative analytical skills (including statistical methods).
• Assess the quantitative and qualitative impacts of possible actions based on your insight, taking into consideration our customers, our employees, and our company.
• Recommend actions based on your insights by effectively telling the story that is supported by data through presentations (PowerPoint), data visualizations (Tableau), and clear and concise verbal and written communications skills.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders to help implement and measure recommended actions.
• Build relationships with key stakeholders across Toyota such as Sales, Marketing, Servicing, Insurance, Risk, Technology, Legal / Compliance, Finance, Treasury, etc.
• Continuously improve your analytical, technical, communication, and people skills through offered training and on-the-job experience to prepare for advancement into analytical leadership roles.
• Become a subject matter expert for your business area by developing a comprehensive understanding of its strategies, processes, policies, and data.
• Guide / mentor other analysts on best practices for analysis and data storytelling.
