As a Security Officer - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Southaven, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech / Media / Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a tech-driven environment, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence throughout the location. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises using a company vehicle. You will also engage with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Position Type : Full Time Pay Rate : $15.00 / Hour Job Schedule : Day Wed07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM Thur07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM Fri07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM Sat07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM Sun07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM What You'll Do + Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites + Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education + Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams + Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service + Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities + Provide customer service to clients by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate. + Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. + Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. + Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. + Assist with access control by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and maintaining visitor logs as required. + Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client staff to support a secure environment within the tech, media, and telecom setting. + Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and in a timely manner. What We're Looking For + Availability across various days and shifts + Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments + A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company + Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements + At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. + A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. + Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. + Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. + Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. + As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. + Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. + A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
