Traffic Engineer

Job Description

Join our dynamic and expanding transportation team as a Traffic Engineer , where you’ll play a key role as part of a growing and developing practice in delivering innovative solutions for complex transportation challenges. We’re seeking a skilled professional with expertise in traffic design and analyses which includes work zone traffic control, signing and pavement marking, traffic signal design, ITS design, roadway lighting, and traffic operations analysis and simulation. The ideal candidate does not need to be proficient in all areas, but at least one to two of the areas listed. This position is available in all NC / GA offices : Raleigh, Charlotte, and Atlanta. Hybrid work would be acceptable for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

In this role, you’ll contribute to the Carolinas / Georgia Traffic Team and impactful transportation projects by :

• Developing creative, effective traffic solutions for diverse roadway and multi-modal projects.
• Engaging in client management and relationship-building.
• Representing the firm through presentations at industry events and conferences.
• Developing new areas of expertise and diversifying your own talent base.
