Land Development Engineer - Civil Engineering

We are seeking an experienced Land Development Engineer to lead technical design efforts for multidisciplinary civil engineering and land development projects. Reporting to the Director of Land Development, you will oversee project design, coordinate with internal and external teams, and ensure regulatory compliance for development projects, including  commercial, retail, and K-12 / institutional sites .

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the preparation of project drawings, calculations, and specifications .
• Conduct engineering analysis, design, and reporting for land development and stormwater management projects.
• Evaluate land use and zoning requirements , and navigate site plan approvals and permitting processes.
• Prepare permit applications and coordinate with agencies to secure approvals.
• Perform occasional site visits during construction to assess progress and quality.
• Collaborate with owners, developers, architects, landscape architects, and contractors on project design.
• Mentor and train junior engineering staff to develop technical expertise.
