IS Technology & Corp Solutions Non-Clinical Intern
The Information Services Intern will work collaboratively with the IT team to provide technical support, assist with system maintenance, and contribute to a variety of IT-related projects. This internship offers valuable hands-on experience across multiple areas of information technology, allowing students to build practical skills that support future career growth in the field. The intern will assist with hardware replacement and upgrade initiatives. Additional assignments may be provided based on departmental needs and project timelines.
Preferred Skillsets :
Technical Support : Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, respond to service requests, and provide high-quality end-user support.
System Maintenance : Assist IT staff in maintaining servers, networks, and related systems to ensure performance, reliability, and uptime.
Software Installation : Support the installation and updating of software applications, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and compatibility requirements.
Schedule :
This internship may be part-time or full-time, with flexible hours to accommodate academic schedules. A minimum commitment of 20 hours per week is required, with the opportunity to work up to 40 hours per week based on availability and department needs.
Preferred Fields of Study :
Students pursuing degrees in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related disciplines are encouraged to apply.
Qualifications :
Must be a current undergraduate college student or graduate college student. A specific educational focus or degree may be preferred, depending on the hosting department of internship. None required. A specific license and / or certification may be preferred, depending on the hosting department of the internship. Other qualifications may vary by department of internship.
