Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Scrum Master with hands-on experience driving Agile delivery within the insurance domain . This role will support digital transformation initiatives, ensuring delivery excellence, alignment on goals, and effective sprint execution across cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Lead core Agile ceremonies : sprint planning, daily standups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Manage sprint activities including backlog refinement, release planning, and dependency resolution.
Track and report Agile performance metrics (velocity, burndown, risks, impediments) to stakeholders.
Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, developers, and QA to deliver sprint commitments.
Drive Agile maturity and best practices within insurance operations (underwriting, claims, policy servicing).
Ensure compliance with regulatory and governance requirements in insurance product development.
Promote continuous improvement and coach teams in Agile culture and efficiency enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong knowledge of Scrum , Kanban , and Scaled Agile frameworks.

Experience supporting Agile delivery for insurance applications :

Policy administration systems

Claims platforms

Customer portals or digital servicing systems

Proficiency with Agile tools : Jira , Confluence , Rally , or Azure DevOps .

Ability to manage cross-team dependencies and risk mitigation plans.

Strong understanding of Agile metrics / reporting and stakeholder communication.

Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI / CD integration processes.

Preferred Qualifications

Certified Scrum Master (CSM, PSM, SAFe) or other Agile certification.

Experience with enterprise cloud / digital transformation in Life, Health, or P&C Insurance .

Background in software development or QA within Agile environments.

Understanding of data privacy and compliance in regulated industries.
