Job Summary and Qualifications
This position oversees and coordinates efforts within the Parallon HIM Technologies - Application team to implement and support custom applications that support Parallon HIM and revenue cycle objectives. This position collaborates with the development team and internal technical and business teams to ensure custom-developed applications are implemented with minimal business impact, and that issues are identified and resolved quickly and completely. This position also assesses risk of enhancements and application changes, ensuring changes are coordinated and documented according to ITG change management standards.
Major Responsibilities
Personnel Management : Establish and drive execution of area goals and work priorities, estimate required resource allocations, mentor staff, complete performance reviews, recruit and hire analysts and engineers, oversee onshore and offshore contract resources.
Management of Implementation : Coordinates with the Onshore and Offshore Application team to oversee maintenance and execution of requirement analysis, application development, testing, UAT, and deployment. Responsible for development of communication protocols related to issues and defects to end users and business partners. Manages User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Go-Live activities. Oversees product support and customer service functions, including on-call support, to ensure high level of customer satisfaction. Ensures compliance with enterprise change management processes and procedures delivery of quality metrics reporting to ITG leadership and business partners. Oversees alerting and incident management processes. Ensures high availability of applications and manages engagement with the Application Portfolio Management program. Oversees product defect tracking and resolution to ensure optimal software quality during and after UAT. Oversees communication to end users and business groups regarding defects, product releases, release content, etc.
Other : Works closely with business stakeholders, Application Developers, QA, Data and ETL Engineers, all technology solutions areas, and project managers to ensure department, business, and project goals are achieved.
What Qualifications You Will Need :
Education : Bachelor's Degree Required
Experience : 5 or more years of experience in healthcare IT Required
Management Experience : 1 or more year(s) of experience in a leadership role - Required
