We are currentlyseeking a skilled and experienced Residential / CommercialConstruction Estimator to join our team. As a leadingconstruction company in the industry we specialize in residential and commercial concrete projects deliveringhighquality results to our clients.
Responsibilities :
- Analyze construction plansand specifications to accurately estimate project costs includingmaterials labor and equipment.
- Collaboratewith project managers architects and subcontractors to gathernecessary information for accurate estimations.
- Prepare detailed takeoffs and cost estimates for variousconstruction projects ensuring accuracy and adherence to projecttimelines.
- Conduct onsite visits andassessments to evaluate project requirements identify potentialchallenges and provide accurate cost estimates.
- Utilize our estimating software Plan Swift to generateaccurate and comprehensive estimates.
- Researchand analyze current market trends material costs and labor rates toensure competitive and costeffective estimates.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to source andevaluate suppliers and subcontractors for pricing andavailability.
- Prepare and present detailedestimates to clients addressing any questions or concerns they mayhave.
Requirements :
- Proven experience as a Construction Estimator inresidential and commercial construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes materials andtechniques. Proficiency in using industrystandard estimatingsoftware and tools.
- Excellent mathematical andanalytical skills with attention to detail.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills with theability to effectively collaborate with variousstakeholders.
- Ability to work under pressureand meet tight deadlines.
- Strongorganizational and time management skills.
- Professional certification or a degree in ConstructionManagement or a related field is preferred.
