Job Overview

American Consultants is looking for a dedicated and skilled Travel or Local ER RN to join our dynamic healthcare team for this 13 week contract. The role may involve working in various settings, including Level I and Level II trauma centers, hospitals, and urgent care facilities. Candidates should be adaptable, possess strong clinical skills, and be committed to delivering exceptional patient outcomes.

Assignment Details :

  • Contract Length : 13 weeks
  • Shift : Mid-Shift
  • Hours : 36 3x12's
  • Start Date : ASAP
  • Pay : Local Rate-$60 an hour / Travel Rate-$2,310.68 weekly gross

    • Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in emergency situations, utilizing critical thinking and clinical judgment.
  • Perform patient assessments, triage incoming patients, and prioritize care based on acuity.
  • Administer medications, IV infusions, and treatments as prescribed while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations and facility policies.
  • Utilize EMR systems such as Epic or Cerner for efficient patient record management.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to NCQA standards.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families regarding treatment plans and health management.

    • Required Documents :

  • A valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Previous experience in a Level II or Level I Trauma Center is preferred.
  • AHA BLS
  • AHA ACLS
  • PALS
