Role Overview :

As a Health and Safety Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment across manufacturing facilities.

You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with safety regulations, developing procedures, identifying potential hazards, and implementing proactive safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Ensure material safety data sheets (MSDS) are readily available and accurately maintained.
  • Develop comprehensive health and safety procedures tailored to manufacturing and corporate environments.
  • Identify safety concerns and spearhead initiatives to address them effectively.
  • Oversee compliance with regulations, including the proper handling of hazardous waste and pollutants.
  • Maintain detailed records and prepare reports on safety-related issues.
  • Provide documentation of accidents

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, ideally in a relevant field such as Occupational Health and Safety.
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Safety role, with a proven track record of success.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively convey safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Experience in training staff on safety protocols and procedures.
  • Certification : RCRA Hazardous Waste Storm Water
  • Proficient knowledge of environmental regulations and policies.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess risks and develop proactive solutions.

What You’ll Receive :

  • Compensation : Competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $95,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
  • Work Hours : Day shift hours from 8 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM, Monday through Friday, ensuring work-life balance.
  • Travel : Approximately 50% with minimal overnight stay
  • Company Truck with expenses reimbursed.

  • Relocation package for the qualified candidate
