Primary Purpose : This inside sales role at AIM Fleet America serves as the primary day-to-day contact for managing, growing, and developing existing and potential customers within the automotive / heavy duty fleet channel.

The candidate will need to expand customer contacts, build strong partnerships, and exceed company growth expectations. The role is responsible for driving business results and sales within assigned sales territory via the phone or other digital meeting tools.

This role also includes frequent interfacing with multiple internal departments and suppliers

Major Responsibilities :

  • Report daily to our Largo FL distribution center
  • Utilize the phone, digital, and remote selling tools to grow assigned sales territory above yearly goal.
  • Communicate in an organized, clear, and concise manner to effectively express ideas, plans, actions, and projects to support customer needs.
  • Manage the day-to-day activities and serve as the main point of contact for accounts within assigned territory, including line conversion opportunities, quotes, orders, inventory requests, and general inquiries.
  • Ability to utilize a consultative selling approach and sales process to uncover opportunities, handle customer objections / concerns, and determine appropriate solutions via the phone or other digital meeting tools.
  • Develop deep and meaningful relationships with key accounts within assigned territory and build relationships with multiple contacts within each key customer’s organization (including owners, purchasers, and vehicle maintenance personnel, etc).
  • Strategize with other internal stakeholders to develop and implement account penetration strategies with key customers to maximize sales.
  • Identify and win short and long-term sales opportunities within assigned territory.
  • Execute timely follow up with customer and internal requests.
  • Help identify future efficiencies or process improvements to existing processes.
  • Demonstrate our core values of tenacity, curiosity, likeability, and humility.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills / Knowledge Required :

  • Intermediate skills with MS Office applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM and Outlook required.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers, associates, and management.
  • Demonstrate an ability to work independently and manage time effectively. Self-motivated with high energy.

Education and Experience :

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant business experience preferred.
  • 3+ years Inside or Outside Sales Experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Automotive / Diesel repair a plus
