Job descriptionIdentify and pursue new business opportunities in commercial HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical markets Build and maintain relationships with building owners, facility managers, general contractors, and engineers Develop strategic account plans and execute sales strategies to meet revenue targets Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to expand market presence Prepare and present proposals, qualifications packages, and capability statements Collaborate with estimating and operations teams on project pricing and pursuit strategies Track sales pipeline, forecast revenue, and report on business development activities Stay informed on market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities Negotiate contract terms and close new business agreements 5+ years of business development or sales experience in commercial construction or MEP industries Proven track record of generating new business and meeting sales targets Strong understanding of commercial mechanical systems and construction processes Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within territory Bachelor's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field Existing network of contacts in Cincinnati commercial construction market Experience with design-build or CMAR project delivery methods Background in HVAC, plumbing, or building automation systems
