About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse - MS / Tele

Location (On-site, Remote, or Hybrid?) : Huntersville, NC (onsite)

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Work Hours : Night 3x12-Hour (18 : 45 - 07 : 15)

Total Weekly Hours : 36 ### RTO after booking is NOT allowed and is NOT allowed to be worked out onsite. Any call offs or additional RTO on unit, could possibly turn into a Cancel and DNR ###

REQUIRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP :

Minimum Years of Experience : 2 years experience, minimum

Traveler Experience : Unit WILL ACCEPT 1st time travelers

Locals Accepted / Rate Difference : Yes

Skills : IV Start, Telemetry, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias

Certs : BCLS and NIH

PREFERRED SKILLS / CERTS / EXP :

Certs : ACLS

JOB DETAILS :

Target Ratios : 1 : 5 / 6

Shift : 12HR NIGHTS; 18 : 45 - 07 : 15

• 36 or 48 Hours can be offered. If accepting 48 hours, NO OT until after 48 hours are billed.

Will accept 13-week contracts.

Float Requirement : Floating is required as needed to other Med / Surg units.

Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend.

PATIENT DIAGNOSES : Variable med-surg unit with focus on cardiac and neurology services. Stroke certified, hip and knee certified, colorectal cancer certified, ERAS, general surgical patients, occasional GYN surgeries, hospice, cardiac services, pre and post cath, tele neurology, oncology.

UNIT SYSTEMS : Pyxis, EPIC, SBAR

SCHEDULING TYPE : Unit schedules

UNIT ORIENTATION : 2, 12-hour shifts. Hospital Orientation week one : traveler must be available for classes each day.

SCRUBS : Any combination of navy and white.

Must pass EKG Testing prior to start for this specialty
