Position Details
Local candidates to Phoenix preferred, but remote with travel to PHX required.
Work Schedule / Hours : Flextime : 8 am 5 pm with extended workdays / weekends required occasionally depending on project phase and status.
3-months contract (Target Start / End Dates : 09 / 15 / 2025 to 12 / 31 / 2026)
Travel Requirements : With this position, you can expect 50-75% domestic travel possible to onsite location in Phoenix, AZ.
Scope of Position
As a Project Analyst within Corning Shared Services, you will work with the local Finance Controlling team to define and improve business processes, business process design and new functional introductions. Position will be working under the guidance of the local controlling team within the Oracle Fusion ERP to improve local processes.
Day to Day Responsibilities
Work hand in hand with local Finance Controller team at a manufacturing plant to help improve understanding of transaction processes as well as help understanding inventory flows and addressing inventory questions.
Resolves complex system and process issues and incidents; leverages relationships with business / IT colleagues to resolve open complex issues and implements corrective measures to prevent future issues.
Serves as a subject matter expert, providing solutions and best practices to increase efficiencies. Serves as consultant to management on major matters pertaining to its processes.
Streamlines processes where possible and communicates areas of improvement to management.
Viewed as an expert in the field i.e., GAAP, Finance systems and applications.
Required Skills
Required Education and Experience : A minimum of a bachelor's degree. 3 or more years' experience working on Finance / Supply Chain transactions and inventory management with Oracle Fusion ERP.
Functional Finance system knowledge of Oracle Fusion.
Finance and inventory management.
Ability to assess priorities and manage many project activities at a time. Capacity to work well under pressure with ability to adapt to changing project requirements and deadlines.
Customer focused.
Excellent organizational skills, detail oriented.
Demonstrates initiative and effectively manages self through a fast-paced environment.
Highly proficient with Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and / or Project.

Position Details : Pay Transparency
This is the pay range that Magnit reasonably expects to pay someone for this position is $34.53 / hour $44.89 / hour W-2.
