Job description

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) to support two high school students within a Special Education (SPED) classroom setting. The ideal candidate will provide individualized care during school hours, ensuring the students' medical and personal needs are met in a respectful and professional manner.

Contract Details :

Location(s) : Decatur, AL.
Contract through the 25 / 26 school year – 25 hours per week.
Contract follows the academic district calendar.

Salary :

RN total per week : Up to $1,250.

LPN total per week : Up to $1,000.

Qualifications :

Current LPN or RN license in good standing.

Experience with diabetic care preferred.

Comfortable with providing personal care and working in a school environment.

Must be dependable, patient, and supportive.

Key Responsibilities :

Assisting with basic Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).

Providing diabetic care (including monitoring and support).

Assisting with bathroom needs and hygiene.

Collaborating with school staff and following care plans.
