Position Summary – Machine Operator

Our client is currently seeking individuals who are experienced in 3 & 4 axis Machining operations. This role is responsible for assuring the efficient operation of day-to-day machining tasks which include operating machines, in-process checks of machined features, edge-breaking for handling purposes, offsets when needed, tool set up / checks and timely communication of all concerns / issues.

Duties / Responsibilities :

• Read and follow all work instructions, set-up sheets, routers and blueprints.
• Communicate machining adjustments or concerns as required and implements needed adjustments as instructed
• Set-up and / or operate machines in accordance with predetermined standards and practices.
• Continually Inspect and document machined dimensions of work to assure conformance to drawings and customer requirements.
• In-process load machines and maintain consistent engineering practices, standards, and documentation procedures
• Communicates all discrepancies and improvement suggestions to supervisor
• Be respectful of others and follow all company procedures and safety policies.
• Maintain expected attendance levels and keep machines / work areas clean and organized at all times.
