License : Compact or KY State License required

Certifications : ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS required prior to start

Must-Have :

• Phase 1 recovery experience
• Pediatric patient care experience

Description :

This position focuses on the Interventional Radiology PACU.

Rotating start times of 6 a.m., 7 a.m., or 8 a.m. are required.

3-4 late stays will be expected every 6 weeks.

Candidates must have experience with phase 1 recovery and caring for pediatric patients.

ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications are necessary.

PALS does not need to be held at the time of submission, but candidates must be willing to obtain it prior to starting.

Local travelers within a 75-mile radius are not accepted.

Candidates may need to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals.

Call response time is 1 hour.

Weekday call will be from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Weekend call will be divided into two shifts : 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. or 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.

The role requires monitoring phase 1 recovery and ICU patients.

Candidates must be able to pre-op patients and care for them upon return.

Pediatric experience is required but does not have to come from a dedicated pedi PACU unit.

Candidates will recover in off hours in the main PACU.

Modules may be billable and not included in non-billable hours.
