OASES, located in the heart of Chelsea, is a wellness hospitality collective encompassing an all-day café, wellness boutique, and a private event space. Our menu highlights farm-to-table dishes crafted with fresh, clean ingredients, and using no seed oil reflecting our commitment to authenticity and quality.
We are seeking an experienced, dignified and passionate Manager to lead our front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, seamless operations, and a culture of excellence. This hands-on role requires strong operational leadership, with a focus on training, mentoring, and inspiring your team in the art of upscale dining from upscale service execution to seamless event coordination, ensuring every guest experience embodies the elegance and excellence of OASES.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management : Oversee all daily operations, including staffing, quality control, and compliance with beverage laws, safety standards, and DOH regulations.
Beverage Program Leadership : Manage wine and bar programs, R&D new cocktails, including inventory, ordering, staff training, and pairing guidance.
Financial Management : Ensure profitability through cost control, inventory management, restocking, upselling strategies, and F&B cost oversight.
Team Leadership :
- Lead, train, and motivate front-of-house staff to uphold service standards with honesty and integrity.
- Conduct detailed training programs and pre-shift meetings, focusing on complete SOPs from greeting to departure.
- Hire, train, and develop all FOH staff for long-term growth.
Guest Experience :
Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction by fostering a welcoming environment, addressing concerns promptly, and delivering warm, personalized service.Present during service, engaging with guests, and building meaningful relationships.Administrative & Operational Duties :
Manage payroll and tip distribution accurately on a weekly basis.Maintain dining areas, service stations, and equipment to the highest standards of cleanliness and functionality.Ensure the dining room, seating areas, and all visible service spaces are consistently immaculate, organized, and visually appealing. Uphold and maintain the company’s aesthetic across service, operations, and overall presentation always.Conduct detailed FOH inventory of perishable goods, packaging, and supplies.Oversee private events to ensure flawless execution and repeat business.Actively manage reservations, voicemails, and online reviews.Technical Skills :
Proficient in TOAST (back-end), Marge Edge (inventory), Resy, Uber Eats, online delivery platforms, Triple Seat, Excel, and other restaurant management tools.Qualifications
8+ years of experience in upscale dining, including 4+ years in management.Expertise in training teams on upscale standard of procedure, wine, and beverage service.Strong knowledge of food, wine, and beverage programs to enhance guest experiences.Skilled in hiring, coaching, and developing front-of-house staff.Proven experience managing labor, costs, and POS systems.Professional appearance and demeanor; able to perform under pressure.Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Leads with honesty, integrity, and a focus on team and guest satisfaction.Preferred : Sommelier certification or degreeMUST HAVES = FULL TIME & FLEXIBLE AVAILABILTY.
