Director, Marketing
Strata Clean Energy is seeking an accomplished marketing leader to define and execute a bold, integrated marketing vision that advances our brand as a renewable energy leader. The Vice President (or Senior Director) of Marketing will drive strategies that enhance visibility, strengthen market positioning, support business development, and engage key stakeholders across the clean-energy ecosystem.
This role requires a dynamic strategist with a deep understanding of the renewable-energy industry, proven experience leading marketing operations, and the ability to translate complex technical offerings into compelling stories that inspire customers, partners, and investors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with Strata's business objectives and growth goals
- Identify emerging market trends, competitive opportunities, and customer insights to shape marketing priorities
- Partner with executive leadership to define the company's narrative, brand architecture, and go-to-market approach across EPC and O&M business lines (solar, storage, and hyperscaler solutions)
Brand Positioning and Communications :
Lead brand management, messaging, and visual identity to ensure consistency across all channels and audiencesDrive storytelling that amplifies Strata's purpose, innovation, and impact in renewable energyOversee public relations, media relations, and external communications to enhance visibility and credibilityDevelop proactive and responsive communication strategies, including crisis communications as neededDigital and Demand Generation :
Lead digital marketing initiatives including social media, website strategy, and content marketingBuild integrated campaigns that drive awareness, lead generation, and measurable business resultsLeverage analytics to optimize online engagement, conversion, and ROI across all digital touchpointsContent, Thought Leadership, and Events :
Oversee development of high-quality content such as white papers, case studies, presentations, and videos that highlight Strata's expertiseDrive thought-leadership efforts through conferences, industry panels, and strategic partnershipsSupport event strategy and execution to maximize visibility and stakeholder engagementTeam and Budget Management :
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing marketing team focused on creativity, collaboration, and accountabilityFoster professional growth and skill development across the teamDevelop and manage the marketing budget to ensure effective resource allocation and maximum impactEstablish metrics and KPIs to measure marketing performance and continuously refine strategiesSupervisory Responsibilities :
Provide leadership, direction, and coaching to the marketing teamConduct regular performance reviews and guide professional developmentEncourage innovation and cross-functional collaboration across the organizationEducation and / or Work Experience Requirements :
Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or business administration (master's preferred)1015 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within the renewable-energy, cleantech, or related industryProven success developing and executing integrated marketing strategies for B2B or energy-infrastructure organizationsDemonstrated ability to manage brand reputation, media engagement, and digital campaigns with measurable resultsStrong communication, analytical, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organizationPassion for sustainability and the transition to clean energyPhysical Requirements / Work Environment :
Work is performed in an office environment and in the field.
