Overview

Title of Role : Head of Operations and Growth

Location : New York, NY (In-office 4–5 days / week; ~2 days / month client travel)

Company Stage of Funding : Seed to Series A trajectory

Office Type : On-site, Full-Time

Salary : $125,000 – $175,000 base + Equity + Performance-Based Bonus

Company Description

We’re working with a fast-growing technology company building modern tools for a traditional, industrial-focused sector. The team is small, ambitious, and scaling quickly with a clear path toward their next funding milestone.

This is a high-ownership role where you’ll work directly with the founder and leadership team to help shape go-to-market, customer success, and operations during a critical growth stage.

What You Will Do

  • Build and manage CRM and outbound lead generation systems; run outbound campaigns including calls and emails.
  • Drive customer success and retention through onboarding, training materials, account check-ins, and adoption monitoring.
  • Support market expansion research and validate product fit in adjacent verticals.
  • Create sales and marketing collateral, including presentations, website drafts, and video content.
  • Partner closely with the founder on strategic initiatives, fundraising prep, and operational execution.
  • Travel to clients (~2 days / month) to strengthen relationships and support deployments.

Ideal Background

  • 3+ years of professional experience in consulting, investment banking, startups, venture, sales, customer success, or entrepreneurial roles.
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and execution-driven.
  • Comfortable in a high-intensity environment (long hours expected, similar to consulting / IB pace).
  • Proficiency in CRM use, outbound campaigns, and customer engagement.
  • Strong communicator with experience producing sales materials and written content.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ambition to grow into senior leadership.

  • Background in consulting, IB, or high-caliber startup environments.
  • Interest in or comfort working with clients in traditional, male-dominated industries.
  • Charismatic and authentic in client-facing settings.
  • Compensation and Benefits

  • Salary : $125,000 – $175,000 base
  • Equity : 1–1.5%
