Physical Therapist Outpatient. Chantilly and Fair Oaks locations

Come join our team of patient focused outpatient rehabilitation professionals at our Fair Oaks Inova Physical Therapy Center as a full time Physical Therapist specializing or interest in general Orthopedic and Lymphedema treatment.

This is a hybrid position in that two days a week you work in our Chantilly location and 3 days in our Fair Oaks location.

The Physical Therapist 1 selects evaluations and treatment methods appropriate for the patient's diagnosis, age group, and physical / emotional status while formulating appropriate treatment plans.

Demonstrates essential skill competencies in the use of treatment modalities, equipment, and protocols. Performs re-evaluations according to department guidelines while adjusting treatment plans accordingly.

Inova Health System is looking for a Physical Therapist to join our IPTC (Inova Physical Therapy Centers) team of supporting our outpatient locations at Fair Oaks and Chantilly .

This would be 2 days in Chantilly office and 3 days at Fair Oaks. This role will work full-time, Monday-Friday with two evenings until 8pm each week.

The ideal candidate will have experience / interest in working with Cancer Rehab / Lymphedema treatment

Responsibilities :

• Demonstrate the essential skills in the use of treatment modalities, equipment and protocols and will perform reassessments according to state and facility guidelines, adjusting treatment plan accordingly.
• Communicate effectively with patients, family, medical staff, care team members, students, supervisors, and outside contacts.
• Adhere to department policy regarding time frame, appropriate form and content of written rehabilitation documentation
• Complete all administrative and other responsibilities in support of the operating unit.

Requirements :

• While one year experience in a Physical Therapy setting is desired, we will accept entry level physical therapists.
• Minimum of a Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy
• Virginia Physical Therapist license in good standing
• Must also have BLS / CPR certification from the American Heart Association upon start.
