Autonation Dealer Account Manager

AutoNation is currently seeking a Dealer Account Manager to join AutoNation Finance a team who specializes in helping our dealerships and consumers finance the purchase of a vehicle. We specialize in the field of auto lending, developing long-term relationships with our stores and generating quality receivables. This is a remote position, the candidate must reside in Southern California. You must be able to drive to dealerships in Orange County and the Carlsbad area.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Maintain & Strengthen Dealer Support : Serve as the primary point of contact for AutoNation dealerships located in Southern California, delivering consistent support and guidance to ensure alignment, enhance collaboration, and maximize performance.
  • Foster Relationships with Dealership Personnel : Initiate and build relationships with dealership personnel, including General Managers, Finance Managers, Sales Department, and Business Office.
  • Provide Ongoing Education & Guidance : Actively support dealers through daily interactions and hands-on guidance, with a focus on reinforcing processes, answering questions, and providing additional training if necessary.
  • Support the Funding Process : Assist dealers in navigating the funding process by acting as a liaison between AutoNation Finance and AutoNation dealerships and ensuring dealers have the necessary information to move deals forward.
  • Drive Individual & Dealership Performance : Champion growth by achieving key performance metrics, including unit goals and deal volume.

Qualifications :

  • 3 years of sales experience in automotive industry
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships
  • Excellent follow-through and organization
  • Confident, professional presentation skills
  • True desire to give outstanding customer service
  • High energy and a positive, "can do" attitude
  • Results focused with a competitive drive
  • Working knowledge of MS office software (MS Excel, Word, Outlook, MS Teams)

    Compensation : Base annual income of $60,000, with commission earning potential of up to $8,000 / month.
