About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

• Expertise in ostomy care and education
• Familiarity with high acuity patient care

Description :

This position requires a registered nurse specializing in medical-surgical and telemetry.

The nurse will work in a fast-paced surgical specialty unit.

The role involves frequent patient assessments and management of complex care needs.

Candidates should be comfortable working in environments with flexible staffing ratios.

There will be opportunities for floating to sister facilities as required.

Regular responsibilities include managing central lines and performing various medical procedures.

The patient population includes individuals undergoing trauma surgery, reconstructive surgery, and other complex surgical interventions.

Familiarity with telemetry monitoring is necessary.

Nurses should possess strong communication skills and be adaptable to changing clinical circumstances.

Weekend coverage is required, with a minimum expectation of six shifts within a six-week period.

Candidates must demonstrate proficiency in a range of clinical skills relevant to high-acuity patient care.

Team collaboration with interdisciplinary support services is essential.
