Description
At Tire Discounters, our Warehouse Associates are responsible for picking and shipping of tires and wheels for all our store locations.
They will be walking / standing for the majority of the shift. This position is a full-time permanent position and will report to the Warehouse Manager.
Warehouse Associates Job Responsibilities :
- Maintain highest levels of productivity
- Pull internet tire orders to be shipped
- Pull the tire stock orders for the next delivery day
- Load delivery trucks for next days deliveries
- Check overflow area to see if anything needs to be restocked
- Maintain correct inventories in computer system
- Ensure correct tires / orders are loaded into each truck
- General cleanup of packing area and surrounding facilities
Warehouse Associate Job Requirements
- Desire and ability to work as a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to left up to 75 pounds
- Must be able to maintain good punctuality and attendance
- Prior experience with warehouse material handling equipment (fork lifts, stock pickers, pallet jacks, etc.) desired
- Experience with RF Scanners preferred
- A positive can-do attitude
- Ability to keep accurate records
- No previous warehouse experience required but is a plus
