You will be tasked with managing the functions within the Carrier Sales Department including, but not limited to : sourcing new carriers, building relationships, negotiating with carriers, dispatching drivers, managing the shipment life cycle.

What you’re expected to do :

• Build positive relationships with prospective carriers through regular communication
• Source new carriers based on client demand
• Manage the new carrier onboarding process through RMIS
• Analyze the North American surface transportation market
• Engage in negotiations with motor carriers to secure capacity for client demand
• Effective application and usage of technology
• Manage shipment lifecycle through our transportation management system (TMS)
• Participate in weekly meetings with manager to discuss performance
• Assist Carrier Sales Manager with daily job functions
