Senior Operations Business Analyst of Building Services Parking Lot Projects
The role of Senior Operations Business Analyst of Building Services Parking Lot Projects involves leading the execution of The Home Depot's parking lot capital and investment program. This position oversees a diverse portfolio of project managers, engineers, and paving contractors. The individual in this role plays a critical role in maintaining and enhancing the safety, functionality, and appearance of The Home Depot's parking lot infrastructure nationwide. They must possess a high level of analytical ability to distinguish multiple components of a problem and develop conclusions using quantitative skills. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to leading teams on projects, effective communication to teams and other leaders, reviewing and understanding financial data, identifying trends in paving business and the retail industry. A successful Senior Operations Business Analyst of Building Services Parking Lot Projects ensures the delivery of parking lot resurfacing and investment projects across the enterprise by :
Key responsibilities include : leading project teams of analysts and other associates, performing data gathering tasks, synthesis - developing solutions, project / strategy planning and data utilization, producing documents for teams and leadership to review and utilize, delivering presentations to teams and executive leaders and sponsors, building skills and knowledge including self-development, team knowledge and customer (internal) knowledge.
Direct manager / direct reports : typically reports to Store Operations Process Manager or Store Operations Business Manager (or Sr. Managers). No associates report to this role on a permanent basis, but requires the leadership of a work group : assign and review work, train and contribute to performance appraisal (but not hiring, firing or disciplinary action).
Travel requirements : typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.
Physical requirements : most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.
Working conditions : located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.
Minimum qualifications : must be eighteen years of age or older. Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
Preferred qualifications : a master's degree is preferred. PMP Certification is preferred. 5 years of work experience in construction or asphalt / concrete project management. At least 3 years' experience managing multi-million dollar budgets.
Minimum education : the knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
