HumanEdge Health is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment at a reputable facility in Boardman, Ohio. This role is ideal for an experienced RRT looking to provide top-tier respiratory care while gaining travel experience in a supportive clinical setting.
Position Highlights :
Start Date : ASAP
Schedule : Day Shift | 3x12s | Rotating Weekends
Setting : Acute / Inpatient
Responsibilities Include :
Deliver high-quality, intensive respiratory care and assist with patient transport in / out of the facility.
Evaluate patients and develop individualized respiratory treatment plans in collaboration with providers.
Perform and manage a variety of procedures and therapies : invasive and non-invasive ventilation, oxygen therapy, chest physiotherapy, suctioning, EKGs, trach care, and arterial blood gas collection.
Administer medications via nebulizers and manage aerosol devices.
Participate in bronchoscopies, chest tube placements, and other critical care procedures as needed.
Monitor patient condition using oximetry and capnography, reviewing imaging and making necessary therapy adjustments.
Accurately document assessments, treatments, and patient responses in medical records.
Ensure proper equipment maintenance and follow hospital protocols for infection control and respiratory safety.
Support interdisciplinary communication during shift handoffs and care transitions.
Requirements :
Current RRT credential (NBRC)
Active Ohio Respiratory Care license
BLS and ACLS certification
Minimum 1 year of acute care experience preferred
Proficiency with ventilator management and respiratory diagnostics
