Shift : Nights

Pay : $37.06 - $57.44 / hour, depending on relevant experience

Summary : In this pivotal role, you will coordinate patient transfers from outside facilities, ensuring optimal placement and efficient movement throughout the healthcare system. Your clinical expertise will enhance patient care as you manage admissions and discharges attentively and effectively.

Responsibilities :

• Coordinate patient movement ensuring timely transfers and discharges, in close communication with physicians.
• Manage admissions and transfers according to established system procedures.
• Verify medical necessity and adherence to legal and regulatory compliance for admissions. Serve as a resource for EMTALA transfers.
• Obtain clinical acceptance or denial of transfers and maintain documentation for admissions and placements.
• Provide training and support for new personnel and staff members.
• Utilize critical thinking and decisive judgment while working independently in a fast-paced environment.
