Job Mission

New Balance is looking for an Energy Associate Product Manager to join our growing Lifestyle team. In this role, you'll support the product management team in delivering the global product plan for our Lifestyle Strategic Business Unit. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams from project initiation, through the GTM process, and all the way to consumer purchase. The goal is to help create energy and excitement around our brand in the marketplace, especially at the intersection of sport and culture, as well as build connections with culturally relevant partners to support our Lifestyle priorities.

Major Accountabilities

  • Support on delivering Product Creation strategy that drives strategic growth and revenue for the Lifestyle category.
  • Lead and manage partner relationships inclusive of product alignment, meeting schedules, and cross functional internal relationships.
  • Work closely w / Design, Product Development and packaging to drive operational excellence. Ensure product creation efforts and samples are executed well and on time.
  • Influence and partner with cross-functional global teams based on market data and consumer insights. Partner with Global Marketing's product needs to help deliver best in class project campaigns.
  • Track, monitor, and report project progress and ensure accurate information in the product management system and project tracker.
  • Deliver sell in decks to the merchandising team optimizing the go-to-market process.
  • Conduct market and trend research to gain a full understanding of the needs of the consumer and evolving marketplace. Cultivate industry knowledge and continually evaluate competitors to capitalize on market opportunities.

Requirements for Success

  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in retail, merchandising, product management or product marketing within the footwear industry desired.
  • Ability to understand consumers' needs and mindset as well as a passion for product within the lifestyle category.
  • Knowledgeable about global consumer trends and key brands / retailers / competitors.
  • Ability to adapt and work in a fast paced environment, to work with others as part of cross-functional team, build consensus, and achieve results across a variety of distinct groups.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills; confident presenting in front of large global audiences.
  • Highly proficient with MS Office suite.
  • Domestic travel and international travel.
  • Boston, MA Headquarters - (NB) Only Pay Range : $79,515.00 - $102,600.00 - $125,685.00 Annual (actual base pay varying based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, internal equity, geographic location, and more.)
