Senior Counterintelligence Officer

Amentum is seeking a Senior Counterintelligence Officer to support our U.S. Department of Energy and Counterintelligence (DOE-IN) contract. Positions will be based in the Washington, D.C area. Responsibilities include managing CI / Counter Terrorism (CT) investigations across the DOE complex, working closely with the FBI and the USIC to assist in any ongoing espionage, terrorism, or related operations and investigations at responsible facilities, serving as liaison and interface with DOE facility management and local law enforcement agencies surrounding the assigned facility, and providing CI / CT defensive briefings and debriefings to Departmental personnel in foreign intelligence and terrorist activities / threats.

Requirements include an active Top Secret Clearance, a bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (an advanced degree is desirable), a minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience as a Counterintelligence Officer or agent conducting typical CI program activities as a primary case agent in counterintelligence case management at DOE, the FBI or DOD, and must have advanced interviewing and elicitation techniques. Excellent oral and written communication skills, conflict resolution techniques, and proven ability to perform under pressure to meet tight deadlines are also required. Functional computer literacy and proficiency in common computer and network applications are necessary.
