American Express Travel Related Services Company, Inc. seeks Senior Managers, Data Analytics to drive strategic data analysis and execution efforts to grow card portfolios through data-driven insights. Lead technology-enabled projects that analyze business data, including market trends and customer data, to identify growth opportunities within the existing portfolio and potential new lines of business. Coordinate the execution of strategic initiatives for new business opportunities, leveraging technology, Big Data, and automation. Monitor the performance of key customer segments, reporting on early tenure, high-potential, and high-spending customers, and develop targeted, data-driven engagement strategies. Progress the purchase decision-making process and monitor spend capture to ensure alignment with growth objectives. Collaborate with internal business partners, including sales support teams, to enhance the client experience and grow revenue. Position requires a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Management Science and Engineering, Statistics, or a related field, and 2 years of experience with data and business analysis. Experience must also include 1 year of experience with each of the following : performing data analysis to gain organizational insights, identify cost reductions, and perform time-series analysis using statistical techniques and tools; leveraging MS Excel to structure data and generate models and reports; utilizing MS Excel, SQL, and Big Data platforms to structure data and generate models and reports; performing data analysis and forecasting using MS Excel, SAS, predictive models, and machine learning tools; and with programming using Hive, Python, R, SAS, SQL, and VBA. Telecommuting is available up to 2 days per week.
