A FedEx Ground contractor, has IMMEDIATE OPENINGS for full time package delivery drivers! Drivers will operate out of the terminal located at 101 45th St, Munster, IN 46321 / 1515 Gostlin St Hammond IN 46320 and deliver to homes and businesses in the surrounding areas in step vans provided by the employer.

Starting Pay : $1,000-$1,300 / week
Schedule : Wednesday-Sunday (hours approx 8am until delivery completion)
Delivery Driver Benefits :
- Weekly Pay
- Health insurance after 90 days of employment
- 5 personal days after 90 days of employment
Delivery Driver Requirements :
- At least 21 years of age
- For Hire Endorsement Preferred
- Must submit to a background check and motor vehicle report
- Background check required (FedEx pays for this)!
- Drug screen required (FedEx pays for this)!
- Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs. and work in all weather conditions
Delivery Driver Responsibilities :
- Deliver and pick up all packages daily w / in the prescribed time windows.
- Conduct Pre / Post trip van inspections daily.
- Operate delivery vans safely, securely and competently.
- Learn the route(s) and customer needs serviced by our company.
- Report to the station prepared to examine and organize daily load before departure.
- Handle and maneuver packages of varying sizes and weight w / o damage to the package or injury to oneself or others.
