Senior Research Financial Analyst
The Senior Research Finance Analyst will be independently responsible for post-award administration for several active Principal Investigators in the Department. The Senior RFA will provide both advisory and transactional services in all areas of post-award. The Analyst will use advanced contracts and grants concepts to manage high volume and high complexity transactions. They may review and guide others in the review of financial and administrative management requirements of research contract and grant proposals, awards, and / or transactions to ensure compliance with institutional and sponsor policies. They will work independently to assess complex grant, contract and subcontract transactions where analysis requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors. They may be eligible for delegated signature authority and may review and sign transactions for less experienced staff. The Analyst may serve as a technical specialist in a particular area, such as federal contracts, state contracts, subcontracts, or information systems.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $106,900 - $160,300 (Annual Rate).

The Department of Cellular & Molecular Pharmacology (CMP) is a basic science department within the School of Medicine and performs research and training. CMP provides administrative and financial services to 11 primary faculty members; 2 adjunct faculty; 35 non-faculty academics; 33 postdoctoral scholars, 33 graduate students and 17 staff members.
