The Role
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated person who works well under pressure and can thrive in a deadline-driven atmosphere with rapidly shifting priorities.
They will be able to work successfully with a variety of internal stakeholders and external vendors. In this role, you will format graphics as well as collect, process, and proof various files.
This role requires the willingness to understand / learn state-specific regulatory requirements for the cannabis industry.
Responsibilities
- Create and edit packaging die lines, and artwork within
- Follow creative production standards across all branded touch points to insure visual quality control
- Ensure that project outputs meet requirements for delivery across multiple channels
- Ensure brand consistency across multiple assets, work with multiple identities concurrently
- Ensure project objectives are successfully met through effective collaboration with leadership, internal, cross-divisional, and external partners as projects require
- Ensure provided state guidelines and requirements are being met
Qualifications
- Agency or in-house corporate creative production experience preferred
- A strong interest in the technical side of design
- Has produced technically correct, print- or digital-ready materials, and can provide a portfolio of work
- Ability to produce independently in a team environment
- Extreme attention to detail and willingness to learn existing and new workflows
- Organizational skills, adaptability and composure
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the proven ability to build and maintain strong and effective vendor and internal relationships
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong project management, organizational, and time-management skills
- Performs under minimal daily supervision, receiving guidance from Design Manager about the work that needs to be completed
- Follows projects throughout all stages of print production and / or online deployment
- Interacts regularly with Senior Production Designer, Design Managers, Brand Directors, and other team members as needed for completion of assigned projects
- Manages the execution of the work, ensuring that creative projects are completed on time
- Experience working within a high-growth company would be highly beneficial
- Able to operate successfully in a lean, dynamic, fast-paced organization and to turn ideas into concrete action plans
- Motivated self-starter, proactive and action-oriented with strong problem solving skills
Additional Requirements
- Must pass any and all required background checks
- Must be and remain compliant with all legal or company regulations for working in the industry
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- Must be approved by state badging agency to work in cannabis industry
